Replenish
Restoring the Dillon Creek Wetland
The film follows the story of how local people worked together over three years to bring the wetland back to life, from design to construction, replanting and monitoring. It also features an Ê”ayÊ”ajÌŒuθÉ™m (ayajuthem) language lesson from Klahoose Elder and Language Keeper, Jessie Louie, as well as cultural teachings about the impacts of exploitation and extraction in the territory, and the importance of replenishing efforts, such as the wetland restoration project.
