An in-depth four-part series laying out the steps to achieve the garden you envision reconciled with the time you have for it. Enter at any skill level and finish with the knowledge you need to create your first garden or take your current garden to the next level!

Join us for a tour of Linnea with our resident farmers, meet the happy animals and explore the fertile gardens! Followed by a delicious farm-fresh meal on our scenic deck with views of Gunflint Lake. We look forward to meeting you!

Farmers on a Mission

The mission of the Linnaea Farm Society is to use Linnaea Farm to teach, demonstrate and develop the values and practical skills of ecological land stewardship. By bringing visitors and the Cortes Island community together, we seek to strengthen our relationships between the community and the land.

Replenish
Restoring the Dillon Creek Wetland

The film follows the story of how local people worked together over three years to bring the wetland back to life, from design to construction, replanting and monitoring. It also features an ʔayʔaǰuθəm (ayajuthem) language lesson from Klahoose Elder and Language Keeper, Jessie Louie, as well as cultural teachings about the impacts of exploitation and extraction in the territory, and the importance of replenishing efforts, such as the wetland restoration project.
