The programme is under the direction of David Buckner. David has more than 25 years experience in organic gardening and appropriate technology, including over 20 years on Cortes Island. He has studied at the University of California at Santa Cruz, the College of the Redwoods and the Farallones Institute in California and at Aprovecho Institute in Oregon.

The Permaculture design component is led by Liz Richardson and Oliver Kellhammer, who bring rich and varied experience to a class which combines urban and rural elements in a dynamic blend.

Our core Linnaea staff bring a variety of skills, talents and extensive experience to the programme through various short courses and ongoing units. The core staff is also assisted by other Linnaea residents and guest instructors.
