Richard mixing up a slurry of fermented goats milk and moss! Yum!
3rd May 2007

It has officially been planted! Well, part of it! What an exciting new medium to be working with. In the workshop we learned all different techniques of applying the moss; from blending fermenting milk/yoghurt with spore infested moss to transplanting locally harvested moss. David Rousseau showed an informative slideshow with pictures from all around the world. Living roofs are everywhere! This is just the beginning! Much thanks to Su John, Rose Woolridge, David Rousseau and Richard Andrews for sharing so much information. Stay tuned as we share photos of our living roof through the seasons!
