LINNAEA FARM ECOLOGICAL GARDENING PROGRAMREFERENCE FORMINTRODUCTIONThe Linnaea Farm Ecological Gardening Program is an eight-month practical gardening course. Participants live and work on a small farm for a full growing season. They must work together to plan and create their own gardens which supply food and other crops for their own use. The hands-on part of the course is linked with a theoretical component which involves readings from a text selected from diverse agricultural literature and classroom discussions on a weekly basis.
To be most successful, the program needs people with good cooperative work skills and the ability to "stick it out" for the full season, both with the group and in the garden. Though there is lots of work, it need not be physically demanding. Brute strength is not required, but persistence is a must. Other useful characteristics include innovative thinking and commitment to food production alternatives.
This form is intended to help us find people who can get the most from our program. Please give us your honest appraisal through the questions on the back of this sheet.
Mail the completed form directly to the address below before November 1.
Thank you for your help.
