Linnaea
Since 1989, Island residents have come regularly to the farm to play disc golf and to socialize. The 'Club' is open to all. It provides an excellent forum for exchange of information. Several Disc Golf Tournaments are held each year, attracting large numbers of people of all ages, from both on and off the island.

In the Spring of 1997 a 'public' disc golf course was built away from the core area of the farm. This course is always open and available to the public at no cost, and is maintenance is coordinated by farm residents. This course is used extensively by island residents and visitors.

Both courses are regulation, 18 hole courses through the challenging but beautiful forested terrain of Linnaea Farm.

Tournaments
At the 2000 BC Duck Golf Tournament, Liz Richardson of Linnaea Farm placed first in the Women's Division. Brent Howieson, also of Linnaea Farm, won the Master's Division.

Linnaea Farm's third annual 'Dawg Days' Tournament, in August 2000, was a great success. More than twenty off-island participants, including professional golfers from Vancouver and Victoria, joined the regular Cortes contingent.
