LINNAEA FARM
ECOLOGICAL GARDENING PROGRAMME
THINGS TO BRING

* Rain gear
* Rubber boots (a must!)
* Hats for sun and cold
* Work gloves. (Tough ones for handling
blackberries, soft ones for light work)
* Hand pruners; bypass type are best. (The
most popular hand pruner around here is a
Felco #7.)
* A belt holder for your pruner is handy,
though not necessary.
* hand weeding tool of your choice eg. homi-
digger, yankee weeder

Note: a group order for personal gardening tools may be made in the first week if desired.
Lee Valley or your local garden centre may be the best place to look for hand weeders and pruners.

* Pocket knife
* Comfortable work clothes for all weather.
Wool sweaters are great for our cool rainy
spring and autumn. Pockets help,
especially to carry your knife!
* Flashlight
* Safety glasses for forge work and some
construction jobs
* Bedding including pillows (most beds are
double, some are twin)
